Reseter success reset KIS but KIS remove the days. :/
This tool is highly appreciated. I have one problem though. When I try to reset the trial period I get an error saying:

I've followed all the steps in the guide and my Kaspersky IS 2012 version is v12.0.0.374.
It seems like the tool cannot access some registry entries. Since debug has not been enabled in the application, I can't see which entries.

I also have trouble with the UPDATED version.
I'm unsing v12.0.0.374
...still getting the same error as Radde. The problem might be:
"The Zone of the assembly that failed was:
MyComputer"
"MyComputer" on my system (Win7) is "Local Disc" and not "MyComputer"...which is on XP (most of the time).

To run this trial reset you need to be logged in from an administrator account (account with administrator right).
If you are getting the following error:
"System.Security.SecurityException: Requested registry access is not allowed.", its clear that you are logged in with an account which has limited access...
Log in from an administrator account and you'll get rid of this error...

Hello Mohit, nice patch!!! However, everything seems work with me except the trial-activation process. I did all steps and when came the time to activate the KIS for 30 days, then the KIS said "Internal activation server error. Please try again". Before to write this post, I tried everything proxy setting, network config and so on...but also my network works perfectly and I can surf in web very well. Please would you think about this issue? and thanks :-)
Mohit you are great in sorting this. However, it seems the boffins at Kaspersky have some how wised up. Whenever I reset it goes through OK saying I have 30 days. Within 20-30mins my license has expired.
